Ok so this is my first post of 2008...

Well I guess that is fine, cause its not like I made a resolution to blog more (although that would not be a bad idea). Now that I think about it, I really didn't make any resolutions.

Well since I haven't written in a long time, let me recap my holidays:

Went back to my hometown (which if I don't catch myself I still call it "home" although I guess Omaha is technically home, anyone else still do that?). Both of my sisters were able to make it back for Christmas. I really didn't see them that much, they did have pressing social engagements of hanging out with old boyfriends and sitting around hippy bars smoking keeping them busy. And surprise, they actually decided to get me Christmas presents this year (yea last year no presents from my sisters, I am not whining but this is the only time we do exchange gifts). My older sis was not able to make it back for Christmas but she was able to come the weekend after, but I had to head down to KC to meet up with everyone. The drive to KC was not bad at all, and driving about 80 mph really helps! Got to spend some quality time with KP, Michelle and Ryan. We hit the mall, and I made everyone spend way to much time in Sephora. Hit a casino that night, pretty fun, but the lights kinda freaked out KP. Then our big night out with Jeaniy, Joyce, Kyle, Rachel, Rachel's data (hmmm sorry forgot his name) and then KP, Michelle and Ryan. It was fun, cause we got to have the back room at the restaurant, anyone else feel very vip? Then hit a bar, we had intended for that to be plural, but it was a nice bar, and we were kinda winding down. Ooooh and they had a drink with Pop Rocks in it!! That officially makes it an awesome bar.

Sooo that was about it.

Since then has pretty much just been work. Joyce visited this past weekend, and we had a unsuccessful shopping trip trying to find her some jeans. Jean shopping is always a hard thing, and then when you actually buy jean you love it usually takes you several months of wearing them to make you realize they are your favorites and then when you do realize, you can't find any more to buy. I know, cause my favorite pair of jeans ever are a pair of Sliver jeans, and I cannot for the life of me, find anymore of them.

Kinda turns you off of shopping in general, that a what normal prices are for jeans now a days, and the ones you like are never on sale!
